Smarter, Not Harder: A Couples Day to Reset

Sale Price: $510.00 Original Price: $695.00

This one-day workshop is designed for couples who are wired differently — across culture, neurodiversity, or just plain personality — and still want to build a life together.

Instead of fighting for space in your relationship, you’ll learn how to make it.

Because being different shouldn’t mean fighting for space in your own relationship.

About the Intensive

You love each other. You’ve built a life together. But sometimes, it feels like your differences are pulling you apart.

This one-day workshop is designed for couples who are wired differently — across culture, neurodiversity, or just plain personality — and still want to build a life together.

Instead of fighting for space in your relationship, you’ll learn how to make it.

What You’ll Learn

  • Your Relationship Story – explore how the way you grew up shapes the way you love (and clash) today.

  • How You Fight – spot the patterns you fall into when you’re upset and what your partner sees on the other side.

  • Smarter, Not Harder Moves – practice simple ways to take a breath, take ownership, and still stay connected — even in the middle of conflict.

  • Working With Differences – instead of trying to erase them, we’ll help you learn how to build connection because of your differences, and how to accept each other’s limits with love.

What to Expect

  • A full-day reset guided by Lynda Martin, LMFT — couples therapist, trauma specialist, and expert in helping partners on the brink.

  • Interactive conversations, exercises, and real tools you can use at home.

  • A supportive, intimate group setting (limited to 8 couples).

  • Coffee, tea, and snacks provided by local favorites Sam’s Bar & Grill and Soulmate Café.

  • Optional post-intensive walk at Skylands Manor gardens to unwind together in peak fall beauty.

  • A workbook + goodie bag to take home — because the work doesn’t stop at 4:30.

Who It’s For

  • Couples from different backgrounds, cultures, or life experiences.

  • Neurodiverse + neurotypical partnerships wanting more understanding.

  • Partners who feel “too different” but still deeply want to stay connected.

  • Anyone tired of repeating the same fights and ready to try something different.
